Description

The very first seven-inch, 45 rpm single ever released by any record company, " Texarkana Baby" by Eddie Arnold, RCA  number 48-0001, on green-colored vinyl. Made in 1949. Backed with "Bouquet of Roses." Light scratches on both sides; plays without skipping. 
Also included in this auction are three other green-vinyl Eddie Arnold records from the first year of 45 single production: 
RCA 48-0165 "Evil, Tempt Me Not"/ "The Lily Of The Valley", has light scratches on both sides, doesn't skip.
RCA 48-0127 "C-H-R-S-T-M-A-S"/ "Will Santy Come To Shanty Town". Side A has light scratches, doesn't skip. Side B skips.
RCA 48-0166 "Beautiful Isle Of Somewhere"/ "When Jesus Beckons Me Home". Has light scratches on both sides, doesn't skip.
