**** Please note: all 78s for auction have been kept by the original owner since they were purchased. They were not lent out or played at parties. Although they are USED and have been played, it is equally apparent that they have been carefully looked after. Some of the 78s were played with a heavier needle. The Elvis 78s have seen a little more play than the others, but they are still in collectible condition. Unfortunately, at this point, I do not have a player to play-grade the 78s, so grading is visual only. All 78s should, however, be fully playable with no skips or jumps. ****

78 is USED but is in Very Good condition or better. Grading, as mentioned above, is visual only. Strict grading under bright light. Light signs of wear to both labels. Otherwise, both labels look O.K. No writing on either label. Light wear to spindle hole on both sides, with a little more wear visible to hole on side with "Cut Across Shorty". The non-playable extreme outer edge of the record is not completely uniform because there is a very thin (approx 1mm) part of the rim missing in one place. This is a cosmetic flaw only and will definitely not affect playback in any way. Otherwise, minimal markings, scuff marks, and some light non-feelable scratches consistent with a record this age as well as one lightly feelable scratch of approx 0.5 cm just past the halfway mark of "Three Steps To Heaven". However, the overall impression is still very favourable. I imagine it would be difficult to find a copy of this 78 in such well cared for, albeit used, condition.

Original sleeve has noticeble seam splits, it has creasing, signs of aging and wear. I would grade as Poor, mainly because of the seam splits.
