Description
Eddie Cochran “20 Flight Rock, Dark Lonely Street” very rare, very collectable, original 1st press 78 rpm single, London Records UK 1957, HLU8386 (matrix number Side One MSX1604-1, Side Two MSX1605-1).
Plain paper sleeve in fairly good condition signs of wear through age & use. The disc has slight wear across the playing surface with several fine handling marks and scratches.
I have enjoyed playing both sides all the way through on my partner’s old portable record player which has the 78 rpm speed. As I’ve discovered the old 78 singles have quite a high volume which when played loudly do cut out the poppy & crackly background sound, the disc appears flat as it turns with a very slight warp which didn't affect the overall sound and I experienced NO jumps or pauses.
POSTAGE COSTS WILL BE COMBINED WITH OTHER 78’s.
Due to the fragility of the record there will be substantial packaging and sent Recorded Delivery UK & International with the full value added to the Customs Label if outside the E.U. Postage & packaging £4.00 UK, £9.50 Europe, £12.00 rest of the world (air-mail). Please note the item can be subject to additional postage costs for insurance & Special Delivery if its value exceeds £32.00
