Description
Mega rare Northern Soul UK First pressing in superb condition with the original company sleeve. You just don't come across them in this condition, wonderful to see.
Artist: Eddie Holland
Title: Jamie / Take A Chance On Me
Label: Fontana
Year: 1962
Catalogue Number: H.387
Country: UK
Matrix: AA267212 1F 1//420 / AA267212 2F 1//420
Condition In Detail:
Vinyl shines beautifully, the record seems to have had only light play and handling. Inspected under strong light there are only the odd superficial super light wispy surface marks, one small very faint hairline to Side A not effecting play. Under normal light the vinyl looks almost as new, super shiny retaining it's full lustre.
The rough textured labels are Mint-, I cannot see any spindle trails to either side?
To top it off it comes with the original Fontana company sleeve and even better it has a couple of stamps on it from the original shop in Horsham plus the original owner has written his name and the date the record was purchased on the top right corner in pencil...17/5/62 which on Tuesday makes it exactly 54 years ago to the day!
The record plays through amazingly and sounds wonderful, a full punchy mod sound.
PLEASE NOTE!! Due to a recent time waster I will now ask for bidders that only have above 95% positive feedback and that the item is paid for within 24 hours of the winning bid. This record will be sent insured and signed for and extremely well packaged.
