Description
This is and unplayed, very rare example of the 1980 limited edition on Told You So Records of Eddy's New Shoes or Eddies New Shoes (Depending whether you go by the record cover or the record label! We are the Rich and Ros mentioned in the thanks list on the record sleeve and this is a spare copy of the single we have had since the good old days of the Blitz Boys. Played by John Peel, the A side has also appeared on a few compilations of the day and the original Told You So Records version is now a collector's item. The cover is made up of 2 photocopied A4 sheets, designed by our friend 'Kev' and whose real name is Kieren Phelps and brother to JP (Jeremy in the band), now Head of Illustration at Uni of Gloucestershire. We could tell you the life story of all the band and where they are now, but suffice to say, this is the genuine article which we hope you'll enjoy. The B side record label is slightly blistered with a couple of flakes missing as a result. The record itself has never been played and has been stored well for the 33 years since its issue.
