Description
Rare, Original 1960 edition, Del-Fi Records DFLP-1211; "Eden's Island".
My copy...The cover is not perfect but the artwork/photo retains vibrant color and gloss; still great for display or framing.
The back has some water damage on the bottom corners, but it's kind of cool and suits the mood of the record.
All top seam splits have been stabilized. Bottom seam is very good and the title spine is intact, album title is legible.
Play-graded VG+++: The vinyl is clean and shiny plus it sounds pretty darn great!!!...
only the most minimal surface noise, no skips or pops.
Mystic moods of pop-exotica, love reciprocated, dancing naked around the burning embers, surfing and combing the beach, doing a lil’ trading, seeing the great ships come and go. These are the topics that pervaded the songs of eden ahbez, the man who spelled his name all lowercased, lived in a sleeping bag beneath the HOLLYWOOD sign and wrote the jazz standard, “Nature Boy.” His friends called him “ahbe.”
