Description
I am selling off some old records on behalf of my brother who is in the process of downsizing to a small retirement flat and trying to raise a bit of cash in the process. These records have been well looked after and have always been stored correctly, upright and indoors in bespoke vinyl record cases since he bought them mainly back in the 1970s and 1980s (so obviously these are all original copies and not modern re-pressings) and are all in very good condition. The records are all photographed and are of the actual records for sale so please take some time to have a good look at the pictures, though as I say, these records have been really well cared for by my brother and as a consequence have remained in good condition and we will take the time to visually assess each individual one for scratches and play any which we feel would be best checked.
Each listing starts at £2 which seems quite a fair price and the postage is at cost only via Royal Mail, but should you want more than one record, we will very happily bundle them together to save on postage costs and the records will be sent out ASAP and will be thoroughly packaged in loads of rigid cardboard to avoid any damage in transit.

Edgar Broughton Band - Oora - original vinyl album from 1973 in very good condition all round. The clear outer bag which houses the insert and vinyl has creasing to the top and some rubbing off of the print but for 50 years old is still in pretty good order. The inner sleeve has some discolouration and has been split in a couple of places around the outside, but the lyrics are still fully readable and the vinyl is now in a new inner sleeve. There is a tiny name written in biro to the gatefold insert, barely noticeable, but just worth mentioning. So, all in all, not what you'd perhaps describe as a 'museum' copy of this 50 year old record and maybe not one to suit the perfectionist, but I'm sure that those who know their stuff, especially at this very low start price, will realise that this is still a very good, solid copy despite a few rough edges. Most importantly of all, the vinyl is also in excellent condition and still sounds really great.
