Description

I'm still pruning my 78rpm jazz record collection & so I'm currently offering some of my duplicates here on Ebay.

They are all 10 inch 78rpm American jazz & hot dance mainly from the 1920's & mostly recorded in New York.   The Golden Gate Orchestra is the main subject & they recorded prolifically during the Jazz Age on many labels & under many names: The Little Ramblers, Varsity Eight, University Six, Ted Wallace, Goofus Five, Vagabonds, California Ramblers etc etc.    At their peak they were a REALLY hot band featuring the cream of New York players including the magnificent bass saxophone of Adrian Rollini who is on this record - see my other items for more - I've several rare ones currently for sale on Ebay.   Some are pretty hard to find - and just look at the CONDITION.....

1)Edison Diamond Disc 51580   "COLLEGIATE" (-B) by the Golden Gate Orchestra/"STEPPIN' IN SOCIETY" (-A) by Billy Wynne's Greenwich Village Inn Orchestra in superb "E++" near mint condition.

All records graded visually using the accepted VJM standard.

To carefully pack & post anywhere within UK is £7.50  Anywhere abroad around £29 - cheaper for Europe. Or if you've a healthy Feedback rating you can cash & collect from near Brands Hatch.

PayPal, cash or cheque

See my other items for 1920's American JAZZ & hot dance 78rpm gramophone or phonograph records; a superb BOXED vintage Stanley Bailey No.4.0 smoothing plane & another vintage Stanley No.4 unboxed; plus some antique SILVER COINS, Thalers, Florins etc etc.....

All the secondhand items I'm offering have been used in a practical environment & they therefore have appropriate scuffs & minor knocks commensurate with their age.
