"Probably no anthem has ever been so widely sung in the Churches of Christianity throughout the world as the famous "Adeste Fideles," or as it is otherwise known, "O Come All Ye Faithful." Everyone has heard it scores of times, but its presentation on this record is a novelty. In this instrumental version the complete melody by the band is first heard. Then bells are introduced, after which the melody is again played in a different arrangement." - from the Edison Blue Amberol Records for the Holiday Season supplement, December, 1915
