Description
Collectors, here is an amazing record, Edison Diamond Disc #52423, circa late 1928 - early 1929. Two songs preformed by Vernon Dalhart and his sidekicks: "The Old Bureau Drawer" and "The Choir Boy (Sings All Alone To-Night"). Two fun songs to listen to, you will enjoy them. By this time, guitarist Carson Robison was no longer partnering with Mr. Dalhart. The two songs were issued as Blue Amberol cylinders #5629 and #5630. The last released cylinder is #5719, the last released Diamond Disc is #52651 The record is in great shape, plays loud and very well with little surface noise. There are no edge chips and the labels are firmly attached to the record. Early 1929 is near the end of Diamond Disc land, sales were bad and pressing quantities were small, a very hard record to find! If this is what you like do not pass it up, great buy it now price, go for it!!!
