Eje Thelin Quintet - So Far LP

Columbia SSX 1005. Black/Blue label. Mono. Sweden 1963.

First pressing.


Plain white paper inner sleeve.
Graded cover/record Ex/VG+
Laminated both sides cover is in great shape.
Labels has a few spindle traces only and vinyl is very clean with only a handful ultrathin hairlines.
It plays excellent except for a short part at the beginning on side 1 where there is light background crackles.

Quintet with Eje Thelin - trombone, Ulf Andersson - tenor sax, Joel Vandroogenbroek - piano,
Roman Dylag - bass, Rune Carlsson - drums
Produced by Gunnar Lindqvist, also a jazzman.

Three Thelin penned originals.

Very rare swedish only LP. His first LP as leader. Fantastic modern bop influenced jazz with top musicians.
Hard to find in any condition and this is a fine copy

I sell now and a bit on a part of a collection on the behalf of a friend, mostly jazz LPs.
