Description

A sports-success novelty in the vein of The Fans 'Roly Poly Mickey Lolich' and such, this Omaha, NE single was released in honour of Nebraska Cornhuskers college running back, Isiah Moses Walter "I. M." Hipp; hence the title of the novelty A-side and the design of the label reflecting that of the team colours. The co-producers named on the label were apparently team staff and local media affiliates but the identity of the singers and group is yet to be rediscovered. As for a release date, the lyric "We got a new man..." suggests this was cut when Hipp was fresh on the field; probably 1976.
