Carl Webster’s Yale Collegians – Not much is known about that really good yet ephemeral dance orchestra, which was active in the American East Coast in the turn of the 1920/30s . Guessing by the name, its’been organized, as it seems,  from among the Yale guys. They even made a movie short featuring Rudy Vallee. Also, a composer named Carl Webster appears sporadically in the web as an author of several serious music orchestral pieces, so perhaps these two are the same person. The tune is one of the hottest & most fabulous compositions of the Great Irving Berlin. I am a true fan of it and I could listen and listen to it, in all possible renditions. I hope, you’ll enjoy it too.
