PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE,  A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL  IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH  NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

label: The classic White/Plum Transatlantic label TRA 220  it's in great shape because I can't see any wear so EX.
cover: The cover it's  a beautiful gatefold unlaminated one. There's a couple of short writings on back plus a faded radio station stamp ( I think). The other minor defects does not detract the beautiful drawing but well worth to say that there are 3 corners slightly bent. Spine it's nice but  there's some wear in the first higher cm. I grade this cover VG+ but as you can see from yourself  and trough the photos I'm very cautious. A rare booklet it's also included and sincerelly I did not have see this insert in any other copy I have see in my collector life...so very rare indeed!
vinyl: the vinyl does not have marks but before a good washing I can give more than VG++ to save me against any minimal defect. Playing it's superb...no probs at all.
review: Storyteller was an interesting British group boasting a formidable infectious sound led by male & female vocals & soaring harmonies amid all guitar woven material ... seen this taged in the 'progressive folk' bag, but it's more electrified (rock/folk, electric & accoustic guitar leads, electric 4 piece band) with pleasant backing arrangements and overall the self composed tunes are memorable with the right collectible sound ... they're no Mellow Candle, but there's that basic element in the song structures, and it's pleasantly infectious throughout ... the album was produced by two members of the popsike band, The Herd, and one of them is the yet unknown Peter Frampton who would see fame as member of Humble Pie and moreso solo fortune & fame ... ex Herd member and co producer Andy Bown maintained his association with the group as a songwriter and auxiliary member. Storyteller went on to release one more album in 1971 then called it a day... please don't miss!
