Here we offer a super nice, OPEN/VERY gently used EX to EX+/NM ORIGINAL First Pressing U.S. Jet CBS Mastersound AUDIOPHILE Half-Speed Mastered HZ 48490 LP, "Secret Messages", by the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), issued in this AUDIOPHILE format in 1983.  The COVER is a crisp, clean and sharp EX to EX+, with a lightly "bumped" corner tips at upper left & a lightly "bumped" corner at lower left. The ORIGINAL heavy plastic Mastersound outersleeve is present (NOT shown in photo), and will show some storage wear, and perhaps some minor imperfections like a worn corner or two, or small splits at sides near top (this one has about a 3 inch split at left side top). Obviously the Mastersound seal will be breached, but present. The VINYL is a beautiful, shiny NM...NO spindle marks on the labels, and no real evidence of play. The original innersleeve is present, as is the original LYRIC insert, which has a slightly "bumped" corner. (SEE PHOTO 4). This also happens to be a PROMOTION (PROMO) COPY, as indicated by the classic Columbia/CBS gold embossed numbered promo stamp in the upper right corner of back cover, so it should be a VERY early first pressing...SEE PHOTO 3! This should be a nice upgrade for any collector! The open copies we are now listing are from the same source, who noted that IF the open copy was played, it was usually a one time play, and that some of them, though opened, were unplayed. Also note that we are VERY stict graders, and NEAR MINT (NM) is the highest grade we ever use for an LP, as we feel that NO open LP can EVER be truly mint. But be assured that our NM grade is lovely & pristine! Any open Mastersound LP we list will have the original innersleeve, too, unless noted!

All domestic LP parcels are shipped in NEW rigid cardboard LP mailers with a proper cardboard stiffener for added protection. For 1 LP:

1. Media Mail (USPS slower service & buyer's agreed risk for loss, damage & theft...USPS 6-18 day delivery average, LONGER for Alaska & Hawaii, despite eBay's optimistic delivery window...please note) w/DELIVERY CONFIRMATION = $3.90

MEDIA COMBINED SHIPPING: Add .95 for each additional LP to the Media Mail base rate of $3.90!

2. PRIORITY MAIL (faster 2-4 day delivery) w/delivery confirmation $10.45 ALL ZONES single LP (recommended highly for LPs valued over $20.00 - safer handling- or if you desire your record to be delivered quickly! If you live in a postal zone close to us, and there is a LARGE price discrepancy between our S/H charge and the actual postage price, we will happily provide a partial shipping refund)

PRIORITY COMBINED SHIPPING: Add $1.75 for each additional LP to the Priority base rate of $10.45!

II. INTERNATIONAL:

For LPs selling for LESS than $24.99 U.S.

1. 1st Class International AIR (usually 7 to 15 days average for Europe/Japan/Australia-NZ delivery...but CUSTOMS can delay delivery) = $17.95 for single LP. (PLEASE NOTE: By selecting this shipping, BUYER agrees to assume ALL risk for loss, theft & missing parcels) 

Canada = $11.95

For LPs selling for MORE than $24.99 U.S.

2. REGISTERED 1st Class Mail International (usually 7-15 days average for Europe/Japan delivery) (parcel is numbered, can be tracked, receives some special handling & carries some insurance) = $30.95 (single LP) for Europe, Australia, New Zealand & Japan  AND $24.50 for Canada!

**IMPORTANT NOTE for NON-U.S. BIDDERS**: Any 12" or LP selling for $24.99 or more MUST be shipped OVERSEAS with REGISTERED 1st Class International AIR (signed for & trackable) which is $30.95 U.S. for a single LP! Please consider your bidding carefully keeping in mind our shipping terms!  REGISTERED 1st Class International Air shipping will appear on your INVOICE as EXPEDITED INT'L SHIPPING (eBay doesn't list REGISTERED as an option), but please note that the shipping is 1st class AIR, but NOT really expedited! ***PLEASE REMEMBER*** We do pack and ship very quickly BUT Media Mail is the USPS' slowest service for parcels in the USA, and that INTERNATIONAL parcel shipping time can vary greatly by country.
