"Ole ELO" is the second compilation album by the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) covering their early years. Released in 1976, this LP was originally compiled by United Artists Records as a promotional album for American radio stations, but when copies of the LP stated selling to fans "underground", United Artists decided to release it in the USA to capitalize on the band's growing popularity. Original promotional copies were pressed on gold vinyl. This is the Very Rare ORIGINAL 1976 US GOLD VINYL (DJ) PRESSING on the United Artists Record label. It is SEALED and in Near Mint/Ex+ condition. The catalog # on the spine is: SP-123. There is no bar code matrix #. Amazing shape for being stored away for 41 years. Record has been stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006. Shipped following business day as soon as payment is received.
