If anything I have graded this album on the safe side as collectors will always have slightly different interpretations on quality. An absolute stunning original Mono 1967 'promo' Italian issue of this sought after Garage / Psychedelic Rock debut album from The Electric Prunes.
Presenting both the band's pop-psychedelia and garage-punk sides with a number of highlights including the electric mandolin-driven "Sold to the Highest Bidder," the punk-edged "Luvin'," and the bluesy "Try Me on for Size" plus the classic title track and Velvet Underground-ish 'Onie'.
A pretty good representation of acid-psych-rock from the mid-60's full of fuzz guitar along with very trippy arrangements and lyrics which was typical of the era with some bands doing it much better than others. 'Get Me To The World On Time' with its hovering guitar pattern is another HIGH-light but I keep going back to that reverb on 'Onie' ... simply great stuff !!
One for the vault here for sure.

CONDITION :
Vinyl - played completely both sides before grading : Magnificent shine / Unbelievably clean and surely doesn't come along much better than this one.
Weighs in at over 170 grams and appears un-played though probably has seen a turntable a couple of times only / Beautiful playback throughout both sides / No lead in-out noise ; no skips ... just an ultra bright clean and crisp sound ... in a word FANTASTIC.
Rated NEAR MINT.
Labels : Clean with promo stickers.
Sleeve : Fold-over flap style / laminated front / no writing / no marks / no splits / the flat-edged spine is 'as new'/ no edge-wear / no creasing / a touch of ring-wear on non-laminated back / original plastic inner sleeve is 'as new' / ... a beauty ! (see photos above).
