Description
For sale is a rare PROMOTIONAL COPY of Electronic – Get The Message, a 1991 US Warner Bros. 12" 33⅓ RPM maxi-single, catalog numbers 0-21832 / 9 21832-0. Has Promo stamp in gold on front and a "Joe" stamp on the A side.
This is a great collector piece for fans of Electronic, New Order, The Smiths, Johnny Marr, Bernard Sumner, early-1990s alternative dance, synth-pop, house, and indie rock crossover releases. The single captures the early ’90s moment when alternative rock, Manchester-style dance music, synth-pop, and club remixes were blending into a highly collectible sound and scene.
This 12" maxi-single format adds strong appeal because it includes multiple versions of “Get The Message,” including the Extended Mix, DNA Groove Mix, and DNA Sin Mix, along with “Free Will” in extended form. The credits include Johnny Marr on keyboards/programming/synthesizers, Bernard Sumner programming, and Denise Johnson on vocals for “Get The Message,” making this a desirable piece for collectors of related New Order / Smiths / Manchester music history.
A strong addition for collectors of Electronic, Warner Bros. 12" singles, 1990s alternative dance, synth-pop, house remixes, indie rock, Manchester-era music, and collectible maxi-singles.
Shipping & Packaging: This record will be carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer with added cardboard stiffener inserts for protection, as shown in the photos. The album is protected in an outer sleeve, and when appropriate, the vinyl may be shipped outside the jacket to help prevent seam splits. Packed with collector care for safe delivery.
