I purchased this album new and professionally cleaned treated the LP playing surfaces using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine followed by an ultrasonic cleaning using a Degritter and de-magnetized using a Furutech DeMag device. This LP plays as well as or probably better than new. I have fully auditioned the entire LP twice (only). The product is a pristine LP of Elgar's Symphony No. 2 performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult. Released in 1976 by EMI Records Ltd., this audiophile high fidelity vinyl record features original inner sleeve and cover. The 12" LP in stereo/quadraphonic format showcases the classical symphony style of Edward Elgar, making it a collector's edition for classical music enthusiasts. Made in the United Kingdom, this vinyl record is a valuable addition to any music lover's collection. As noted on the front cover, this version is a "Supercut" mastered and pressed by Nimbus Records for the periodical Practical HI-FI. This album also appears on the Absolute Sound best records list.
