Great Christmas item from Elvis-probably the rarest Christmas item. This is the LP for a Radio Show that was broadcast across the US on 3rd December 1967. All radio stations received a copy and were required to programme the show to go out at I think 10 am in their particular time zone. Col. Parker insisted on this to ensure a vast audience. As in lots of things he was right with listeners counted in 100s of millions across the uS. The record contains elvis Christmas songs, Elvis's Special Christmas message, a Charity appeal and blanks which are credited as announcer where the station DJ would appear to introduce the next track etc. I do not think is an original radio LP but a later copy. Even the RCA logo on the label has to be taken on trust as could be an unauthorised copy. Suffice to say a great item that we have listened to on Christmas morning for more years than I care to remember. However now seems a good time to move it on.
