For auction are two records by Elliott Smith on PLAIN RECORDINGS.
EXTEMELY LIMITED 180g COLOURED VINYL OFFICIAL 2008 PRESSING
These two records have been out of print on vinyl for quite a few years after Bongload closed down and have been fetching hefty prices on ebay over the years.
The records have finally been re-issued on vinyl in 2008 much to the delight of Elliott Smith fans worldwide. The LPs for sale were purchased from Aural Exploits who had an exclusive batch of these which were pressed on coloured vinyl. This was the only place that these could be bought.
XO is on white vinyl and the Figure 8 2LP was pressed on red and blue. These sold out almost instantly and are now only available on boring old black.
At the time of listing this was the only set currently up for auction from the UK so I dont think many made it to these shores.
The sleeves are both numbered. XO is 041/500 and Figure 8 is 070/500. Nice low numbers.
500 is an extremely small pressing so who knows, these could well become more valuable than the Bongload copies which were pressed in a much larger number- Ive seen it happen before where re-issues become more valuable! Definitely set to become a collectors item.
Sorry for the poor images, I hope to get some better ones up soon but it was the best I could do!

NEW , COMPLETELY SEALED & UNOPENED
The LPs come in the exact condition they did from the supplier.
The Figure 8 LP sleeve has minor dents on two corners due to the tight shrinkwrap and perhaps the post but it seems that all copies suffered a little like this.
LOW RESERVE PRICE just to ensure that I at least my money back on these.
Records will be packed extremely well in proper mailers with additional card for protection.
