Description
Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera
Original US pressing, Epic BN 26415 , MONO White Label Promo, from 1968
Cover is VG+, with very very slight wear, but no seam splits, no writing, and no bends. There is white sticker on the front cover that notes "Epic MONO" and the back cover is stamped in red "Demonstration Not For Sale". Record looks Mint-, but plays VG+, with very minor surface noise, but NO scratches at all. The music is weird psych and has nothing to do with opera. I got this LP from the original owner who saw the band in England at the Speakeasy on the night that Jimi Hendrix jammed with them. Songs are : Intro, Mother Writes, Mary Jane, But I Was Cool, Walter Sly Meets Bill Bailey, Lookin' For A Happy Life, Flames, What's The Point Of Leaving, Dream Starts, Reaction Of A Young Man and Now She's Gone.
I have been buying and selling records for 20 years. I sell records at all NW record conventions, on my web page, and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.
There is a flat rate for priority airmail shipped through the US mail. Overseas buyers will have to contact me for international mailing cost. I package records between two pieces of 1/2 inch thick cardboard for maximum protection.
