This MINT/UNPLAYED UK 1st pressing of Elton John's highly rated album dates from initial May 1975 release.

It was pressed b Pye Records pressed on high-quality vinyl which appears translucent red in strong light and is on a custom DJM label: DJLPX 1


Matrix numbers: DJLPX-1-A-1 & DJLPX-1-B-1

'ARUN' is etched in both run-outs.

Disc weight: 139g


Housed in a lavish matt gatefold cover printed by 'Shorewood Packaging' and complete with 'Lyrics' & 'Scraps' booklets and poster.

The package is completed by original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

A perfect unworn pair with no marks or wear to either spindle hole.

Pristine deep-gloss surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' both in strong daylight AND on close examination directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this immaculate disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Perfectly clean & strong with the only sign of wear being a hint of storagewear to the left corners. The inside is 'as new' and both seams and the spine are unworn and undamaged.
