Description

this is Side One of the classic LP 'Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy'. Housed in a metal box which has been marked 'CBS Records - Aylebury - Bux' (Bux = Buckinghamshire) on the front, this is actually an EMIDISC box marked 'Lacquer Recording Blanks'.

This was presented to me by Phil Dunne, the engineer on the album. The record is in Mint condition, not playable on regular record players as the width is 14 inches. No markings are on it in the dead wax and it is one-sided. It is fixed in the box by a screw/nut arrangement to prevent movement but with washers for extra safety. Additionally there is another 14 inch blank acetate.

Unutterably rare, this is a completely unique opportunity for Elton fans.
