ELTON JOHN CAPTAIN FANTASTIC AND THE BROWN DIRT COWBOY PRESALE

Limited to 1,500 hand-numbered copies.

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elton John’s groundbreaking 1975 album with this exclusive Zoetrope picture disc, featuring Alan Aldridge’s iconic artwork, renowned for its intricate, surreal imagery inspired by Renaissance paintings and packed with fantastical creatures and landscapes.

This collectible edition brings the legendary cover art to life through zoetrope animation—making every spin on your turntable truly unique[blood-records].

This concept album chronicles the early musical journey of Elton John (Captain Fantastic) and lyricist Bernie Taupin (the Brown Dirt Cowboy) as they struggled to make it in London’s vibrant music scene.

The record includes fan favorites like “Someone Saved My Life Tonight,” and made history as the first album ever to debut at #1 on the US Billboard 200. It sold 1.4 million copies in just the first four days and remained atop the charts for seven weeks

Each disc is pressed in limited quantities and hand-numbered to order—truly a must-have for collectors and fans alike.

Whether for display or listening, this anniversary release is a stunning tribute to an album that shaped Elton John’s career and left a lasting mark on popular music
