Description

PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!

PRICED ACCORDINGLY!

IF YOU ARE A STICKLER THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU. THERE IS A SURFACE MARK ON SIDE 1 THAT SPANS SEVERAL TRACKS AND WILL CAUSE POPS OR CLICKS.

PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS GREAT! Plays all the way through without skips, but you will hear surface noise and pops & clicks.

Up for sale is one(1) Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP from 1975 with the gatefold cover on MCA Records (#MCA 2142). There is No Barcode.

***HAS ALL OF THE 4 ORIGINAL INSERTS.***

Includes with the original Poster, lyric booklet, scraps booklet and 2 sided fan club order form. The fan club order form is almost always missing from this set. The inserts are in great shape, but have wear typical with age.

The poster is in good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, creases & crumples, etc...There is a small tear in the foldover line approximately 3" in length.

The gatefold cover is in GOOD+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, minor scrapes, minor crumples, and minor ring wear. NO SPLIT SEAMS. There is a large crease from top to bottom on the right side of the inner gatefold.

This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in DECENT shape.

The vinyl is in GOOD+ condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a GOOD+ grading. Even with a GOOD+ grading there is a going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts.

Nice fairly clean labels with minor spindle marks. Comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played many times back in the day. Not played in over 30+ years.
