Description
I am downsizing my classic rock collection and will be selling a number of my LP's over the next couple of weeks. Up for auction is a limited half speed mastered from the original master tapes of Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Elton John, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" produced in 1984. This is a limited pressing by MFSL and this is number 594. My main goal was to collect Near Mint versions of original vinyl for my rock collection, I wanted the same for the outer and inner sleeves as well, but the main priority was to to get the best quality vinyl as possible for the best audio quality, and also to get the best versions. As far as condition goes, the outer sleeve is in Excellent condition, I would have rated it NM, the only reason I am downgrading it it because there is a small yellowish 1-1/4' long x 1/2" high stain to the inside of the of the right lower corner of the trifold outer sleeve, you only see it when you fold out the cover completely. otherwise the outer sleeve has no issues, no cuts, rips, tears, rubbing, or other stains. Please see the pictures to see what I am talking about. The original rice paper inner sleeves and MFSL promotional materials are all NM. The vinyl itself is in beautiful near mint condition, no marks or flaws of any kind, and the labels are also near mint. The records play with near mint quality as well, no sonic issues of any kind. The dead wax shows the inscriptions consistent with what is called out by Discogs. I will only sell to the continental United States, no international shipping. I will send via US Postal Service Media Mail. No reserve, just a very reasonable starting bid. This is usually an expensive record on the aftermarket typically goes for $350+.
