Description
Elton John Honky Chateau, White label, possible test pressing or promo.
Bought this as part of a larger collection. I can’t confirm if it’s a test run or promo but seems possible given the white label. What’s interesting is that the label actually looks like a very faded Eagles Desperado label. Perhaps they were blanks that were next in that run and the printing some how transposed to these or it was simply an error pressing of some sort but that’s just a guess on my part
I have another similar Elton LP of Tumbleweed Connection I purchased at same time (see separate listing)
Record tests VG doe to some occasional surface noise and/or click
