Description
Please understand that I am not an expert, and certainly not an audiophile. That said, I will try to provide a full and honest description of this item to the best of my ability.
This is an Original Master Recording (OMR) of Elton John's 1973 double LP set, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. It was "specially plated and pressed on high definition super vinyl by Victor Company of Japan, Inc." (according to small print on back).
It is a Limited Edition - the number is 2483.
It is sealed and has NOT been played. NOTE: Part of the seal - along the perforated side - is open. The opening is just over 7 inches long (see photos). I have no way of knowing if this was intentional or accidental (or perhaps a result of natural ageing of the plastic?). However, I can affirm that the album could NOT have been removed through the opening that's there and is therefore un-played. I can see no other evidence of damage or wear to either the plastic seal or its contents.
The original recording was manufactured and distributed by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MCA Records). MFSL 2-160 is printed near the top of the spine. It was originally released in 1973, but I do not know if the year of this edition is the same or more recent - 1973 is the only date I can see.
If you require additional info, feel free to contact me. I will provide an answer if I can.
This item will be carefully packaged for shipping which will include tracking and insurance.
