Description
This is Impulse Records AS-9160, Elvin Jones & Richard Davis Heavy Sounds, a ABC Records Inc. white label promo label, original stereo issue of this exceptional recording. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light sleeve marks but playing quietly throughout. The glossy gate-fold cover has damage on the front but more pronounced in the inner paper liner notes (see photo 4) but is intact. The labels are excellent with no spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17. If you can tolerate the cover problems, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of this hard to find record in a white label promo issue. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
