Description
I have an ELVIS original on the SUN label # 223 . The record was one among many that where in a metal storage box in the attic and got heat warp , some worse than others . This record is warped pretty bad , not a dish warp but the ripple looking warps . The good news is the labels are clean apart from the sticker on one side , so it would look good framed , also the record does play through all the way on my old Magnavox stereo and sounds pretty decent . The problem is on my newer Technics turntable the needle jumps from the ripples in the record unless I put a penny on top of the needle to add a little weight and than it plays through fine on both sides . I looked on the internet to see if warped records can be fixed and they do have a few suggestions for fixing them but I don't want to try them on a rare record like this . I am selling this as is with no reserve . E-mail me with any questions and thanks for looking .
