Elvis' EPB 1254 with NO DOG  labels in promo-sleeve plus a promo photo. Please note that this is NOT the 12 song set on 2 disk, this is the 8 song set on2-disks:  The sleeve is faded, yellowed, krinkled,  and spotted a bit here and there, but otherwise, it is in very good condition ( I was forced to use a new book-scanner which has extremely bright lights, so the glare on the front is artificial,, and the color is actually more toward a faded lime-green. I will try to find a flat-bed scanner and add a new scan of the front, without the glare.), see pics. The vinyl plays very well despite a few surface scratches. I noticed only a couple of places where there was a tic or two on my '50s era record player; on a more sensitive, modern system there may be more aberration. The 4 labels are VG to VG plus with all of  the printed information fully legible. The photo/catalog has a sparse, then current catalog of Elvis' RCA releases, with this EPB 1254 not yet listed among those releases. This item is 3 9/16" X 5.5"; it has a few thumb-tack holes above Elvis' head and two more along the bottom center, but none on the Elvis image, all 4 corners are slightly bent, and there is a music store stamp across the printing on the back, see pics The next to last pic is an old cardboard divider that fits between the two records and the last pic is a copy of the original photo that gave us the sleeves for LPM-1254, EPB-1254, and EPA-747.
Since this is a little different than the one I listed a few months ago, I will have to add a bit of descriptive information to this listing:     
 A number of people asked me how I decided that this sleeve was a promo; the answer is simple:  1.   There is no specific catalog number, instead it displays 3 catalog numbers: LPM 1254, EPB 1254, & EPA 747  2.   There is no "printed in" information standard on commercial releases.
3.   The photo that comes with this has a then current catalog of Elvis' RCA  releases, and it has this addendum at the end: "...also available on 45 Extended Play album  EPB-1254"  4.   I found this listed in an old catalog of Elvis records, and that catalog lists this sleeve as a "promotional sleeve"
A note on the inset of the original photo, which shows the audience above and behind Elvis:
The audience and the head-stock of the guitar on the upper left were eliminated from the original,  iconic photo of Elvis for use in all of the releases that have photo-sleeves
similar to this one. The technology used to erase those features was necessarily the technology of the day, which was airbrush to mask the undesired features with a  dark color and blending-in that dark color with the lighter features in the foreground. These eliminations of the audience and head-stock seems to be the ONLY reason for the photo-inset to be tinted green.
A note on the "no dog" labels: 
If you check your catalogs, you will see that all of these "no dog" labels run in consecutive numbers from EPA 747 through EPA 4006, and then stop, so these were NOT, as some catalogs say,  a "mis-press error". In addition, anyone who has had one of these "no dog labels" with a tear in the paper can observe that these were printed on BLACK PAPER instead of white. In light of the foregoing, it seems obvious to me that RCA was experimenting with a single, silver ink on black paper to reduce production costs. By eliminating  4 of the 5 printing passes necessary to produce their traditional CMYK + SILVER labels on white paper, they reduced the time for printing to a single pass of silver-print. These labels were printed on black paper to substitute the black of the paper for the usual black ink; the information was still printed in silver, which was the traditional RCA color. While RCA did have similar labels before Elvis, those labels had a silver-outlined dog-logo on the right side as well as TWO silver lines ( see Marilyn Monroe listings for River of no Return on 45 rpm). I have no idea why they decided to eliminate the silver dog on these later releases, but the elimination of the full-color dog saved the time and inks required to make 4 printing passes.

  Addendum:   I am adding this note for those people who were not aware of the circumstances of this collection, which I posted in all of my original listings. 
My brother died last year and these were his collected records over the late '50s and early '60s.  While the collection is inherited by the entire family, the chore
of marketing the records falls to me, because I am the only one who has a little time to go through the boxes and  choose records for ebay listings. My brother
 was an avid Elvis fan, so most of his collection is Elvis, and, as stated above, there are boxes and boxes and boxes of records that I have not had the time to
even open.

 I have added a better scan of the front of the sleeve from a flat bed scanner. It is the last pic in the group.
