Ricardo Mejía, RCA's A&R achieved a fantastic success with "El Club del Clan"project. Television Channel 13 show’s major aim was to compete with thenmonopolized by Elvis Presley local Rock'n'Roll scene, by boosting great hits(usually American covers) performed in Spanish by the new artists.
The leading song was so popular that Ricardo Mejía, released the third volumenof his "Revidiscos" new Project including a “Viva Las Vegas” coverversion by Rolo Moreno, one of the members of the new "Club del Clan"on his new "Discos RM" label.
A very nice cover indeed.
Elvis does NOT sing on this EP.
“Viva Las Vegas” is sung in Spanish by ROLO MORENO.

The “Revidiscos” were a 4-song Extended-Play Album by members of the “new”“Club del Clan” and a mini-magazine. They were not very successful, and arevery sought after by collectors, especially numbers 3 (Elvis) and 1 (JohnLennon).
