'Item Description'
Overall:  Elvis' first recording release with RCA, "Heartbreak Hotel" is featured in this early 1956 RCA release of their new superstar.  The EP format was a way fans could get those early Elvis hits without having to spend the larger dollars on a LP.  This format was very popular in the 1950's thru the mid 1960's when the format would be deleted forever.
Cover: Cool looking original EP from 1956 featuring a great photo of Elvis, this cover is in nice overall shape, front has just a bit of wear in a few spots, mostly it is just a slight aging on the white borders of the front.  The back cover is ditto, just nice overall look, with some light aging to the white background, as you can see in pictures a nice cover.
Edges and Spine: Top and bottom edges show some light shelf wear, but no splits, etc.  The spine is perfect and a few of the corners have very light bumps.  
Vinyl Record: The vinyl on this one is outstanding, no wear to call out, just a stunning playing surface, shows no evidence of wear, not be be missed.  The record labels are also in wonderful shape, this is just an amazing survivor from so many decades ago, you don't see them often like this!
Other: Very tough to find EP from the very genesis of Rock and Roll.
