There is the 'RT' tax code, etched into both sides of the run-off's. This code was used from the 27th of October 1955 until the 5th of June 1957, where it changed to the 'XT' code.
The condition of this super little record:
Vinyl: EX++. Barely a mark on her! Only a couple of marks being obvious, but incredibly light, with nothing to affect playback. A good professional clean and you will probably upgrade her! Sounds great!!
Listening to her is like stepping into a timemachine :-)
Labels: GORGEOUS! Certainly displayable!! They are the ORIGINAL 1st press green/blue colour.
HMV Extended Play.
Rim Text in Upper and Lower case: "The Gramophone Co..Ltd...."
JUST FANTASTIC...NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE SAID!
Sleeve: EX-. Fully laminated to BOTH sides. Slight discolouration to the back white, as well as bottom section of white area to the front....Come on, she is 53 years old-I think I'd have slight discolouration by then! Light ringwear, visible when angled to the light. The top left corner has a crease in the laminate as well as a small fold to the bottom left corner. Just light 'dings' to the corners. No writing, rips or tears...
Overall a simply superb copy of a rare cover and record....Grab it whilst you can!
