Description
This listing is for an original 1956 1ST Pressing of what many consider the very first Rock And Roll album ever recorded. The debut LP by Elvis Presley. This is the first pressing which credits the song,'Just Because' to 'public domain' (PD) This would changed soon after the release of the LP as the writers came forward to cash in.Vinyl is in excellent VG+ condition & plays through with only minor surface noise that never overpowers the music.May benefit from a more thorough cleaning.Very light, non feelable hairlines are visible only under close inspection and using only the most unforgiving lighting.A stunning copy that looks great for it's age,at nearly 60 years old! Original rice paper innersleeve is present inside the cover. I have not removed it to preserve it's integrity. Cover is solid all around with no splits, only normal signs of aging such as minor discoloration. Spine is clear and legible. A beautiful keeper copy of an extremely rare LP. (Matrix #'s Side1- G2PP-1282 3S A1/Side2- G2PP-1283-1S C2.) Will be carefully packaged w/LP outside of it's cover in a resealable polypropylene outer & a standard 3 mil over that in between 2 super thick filler pads. Thanks for looking & Good Luck!
