Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1958 EP release ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis Sails released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4325 dog on top) is in EXCELLENT- condition with a few marks/scratches (nothing too deep though ).
The centre labels have NO WRITING (see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $125 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 52 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)
The ONLY THING that stops this from grading much higher is some age discolouration.
This sleeve grades as EXCELLENT-
This has the single punch hole and the 1959 calender on the rear.(see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $160(£101 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £105.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
This would make a great affordable collection filler until that mint £130 copy comes along.
