Description
Original dealer promo photo with facsimilie autograph of a young Elvis holding what appears to be that Tupelo acoustic guitar???
Looks like a studio shot dating somewhere between his Sun sessions or possibly promoting the switch to RCA? You tell me!
I've only seen this particular photo one other time here on Ebay.
RARE RARE RARE
From my Aunt's Estate, Chester PA music store(Lount's Music) circa 50's. She actually had a stack of various artists, some with actual autographs that all date from the 40's thru the 50's.
Condition: Excellent with minor age related foxing on back and small corner bends outside of live photo area.
Shipping: $4 USPS flat, well packed First Class. $10 International
PayPal
Update: I'm being told by a few people that this photo is from the "Love Me Tender" promo shoot. Of course, this was his first film, but I still can't find a history of this particular pose, documentation via the web or otherwise. It is a matte finish and has no credit to the photo on the corners or reverse.
Thank you all for the comments and help!
