ELVIS PRESLEY - A DATE WITH ELVIS (LPM-2011)

RECORD: VG+ with nice, original gloss, though there are some very light superficial hairline scratches. This record sounded fantastic upon test play with very strong vocals and clear instrumentation! The labels are EXCELLENT; very clean and attractive, with just some very light spindle marks. No writing or stickers ever! This record bears matrix numbers that end with 2S/2S.

COVER:  VG+ with just a 1/2-inch split that had started on the lower seam. This is very minor as most collectors can attest that the vast majority of these covers have very severe seam splits. There is some light edge and corner wear along with some very light surface scuffing on the front and back from contact with other albums over the decades. According to Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VII" (2012), this is "Cover 1B" as it does not have the more commonly seen Red Sticker applied to the front, which gives the song listing for the album. There is absolutely no evidence of this sticker ever having been applied. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover! A very original album that would compliment any collection of Elvis Presley albums and/or memorabilia.

INNER SLEEVE:  Original RCA Victor company sleeve from the era.

GOOD LUCK!
