Description

Elvis Presley A Golden Celebration 50th Anniversary 6 vinyl LP box set - 1984, RCA USA # CPM6-5172. This numbered collectible is # L-19182 (sticker on back of box). As far as I'm aware this is the only (legal) release of the 50s TV performances and the home recordings (two LP sides, one Germany 1958-1960, the other 'date unknown'). The outer box and covers are in excellent condition and still mostly protected by the original shrink wrap - they would be mint but for the cut-out on the spines done in the factory when the box was deleted - see photo. All of the vinyl is in near mint condition with no visible marks. Also included is the original 'hype' sticker, promo sheet for other releases, and a photo.

The gold sticker from the shrink says:

"This numbered collectible set contains"

76 Performances on 6 LP's

The Complete 1950's Networks TV Appearances

Unreleased Interviews

Home Recordings - Sun Outtakes

Burbank Sessions - Music Featured On The January 1985 HBO Special

First Time Release Of TheTupelo Concerts - September 25, 1956

59 Previously Unreleased Performances

Includes A Rare Colored Portrait of Elvis Presley Suitable For Framing

A big vinyl fan in the 80s, this is from my personal collection and is one of a number of vinyl items I'll be selling as I no longer have a decent turntable.

The Box will be posted in thick cardboard to protect the item, which does unfortunately make it expensive to post. Tracking and/or insurance can also be organised at extra cost if required. The package will be over 500g so for Australian customers, the LP can be posted with tracking with Mailman for $12. If that is not possible (eg. if you don't have a street address or live on an island other than Tasmania) it will be shipped with Australia Post for $18.50

I do combine postage and am happy to wait up to three weeks to post if people want to bid on items in more than one auction - please let me know.

Please note Australia Post can be slow at times, especially during peak seasonal periods. Please allow a slightly longer time frame for delivery than eBay suggests. International customers please note that customs clearance times vary from country to country and this is not calculated in the time frame eBay suggests for delivery. Known issues exist with Canada (add 2-4 weeks), Israel (add 2-3 weeks), UK, France, Germany and Asia Pacific (add 1-2 weeks). Please only purchase if you agree to these time frames. Please choose your postage carefully as there may be more than one option.
