Description
The third and final volume in the "Touch Of Gold" series, and in general the rarest of the three EP's; this is an original US pressing of the EPA-5141 which was released in February 1960 and features four songs;
Side 1 - Too Much / All Shook Up Side 2 - Don't Ask Me Why / Blue Moon Of Kentucky
The overall condition of this 'set' is around the VG mark - it is not a 'Perfect Copy' but it's far from the worst that has popped up for sale. As mentioned, it's a bit harder to find so this would work well as a filler copy, the starting price is fair as well - see more details below;
The SLEEVE; shows clear discoloring/yellowing on the white parts, some "dirt" on the front and sticker marks on the back... the corners aren't super sharp either. The RECORD; This is the basic black DOT (Dog On Top) label variation. The overall condition of the record is fairly good, certainly better than the sleeve - the labels look great, no wear nor other blemishes, the vinyl shows handling wear but looks ok.
-------------------- The 7-inch 45rpm EPA (Extended Play Album) format was something Elvis helped to explode in popularity in the 50's. They were like "mini-albums", mostly featuring four songs (two on each side) - so basically a format between an LP (Long Play album, usually featured 10-12 tracks on two sides) and a 45rpm Single (one song on each side). They were pressed in big numbers back then but they are still quite collectible and sought after today, possibly because they're far easier to handle and frame (as an example) than LP's. --------------------
