Elvis Presley AFL1-XXXX
This week we are offering a collection of different AFLs (AFL1) catalog number prefixes. These are re-issues of the LSP catalogs. Some are more common than others. A notable common is the Moody Blue album. Others that are often advertised as AFLs are actually LSPs with an AFL sticker. Again, this is another area where the price guides are beginning to catch up on. Some of these titles are so rare, that the cover is an AFL and the record is LSP.
In this auction, you are bidding on the title and pics.
The cover is AFL and the record is the APL. This is an extremely difficult catalog number to find. Only a handful of copies actually contain an AFL record, they are extremely rare and only discovered within recent years. It is my understanding, that a sealed copy was opened to reveal an APL in search of an AFL copy. This is a true pairing AFL cover with APL record.
- Cover: VG- (Displays fairly well. Tape marks, ringwear, edgeware, manufacture cutout on side, and two inch seam split on bottom (True AFL)
