Description

This auction is for all 5 of Elvis Presley’s 45 rpm singles on the Sun Records label recorded and released in 1954 / 55.

These 45s are exact replicas of the original Sun Records 45 rpm singles. They were pressed in 2001 in very limited quantities on red vinyl by BMG Special Products. BMG (Bertelsmann Music Group) was an international music company that was the result of a 1985 merger of RCA Records and Ariola International, which owned several U.S. record labels. Thus, as a result of the merger, BMG owned the master tapes of Elvis’ entire recording catalog with Sun Records and RCA Records.

These 45s are from my personal collection. I am an audiophile of 50 years and have been collecting vinyl for the last 50 years. I purchased these 45s when they were issued in 2001 and have never played them. The records and the pic sleeves are as new. The records are unplayed and in mint condition. The sleeves are also as new and in mint condition. The sleeves are perfectly flat with no marks, creases, or folds. The records and pic sleeves have been stored separately in polyethylene sleeves since I purchased them 20 years ago.
