Description
ELVIS PRESLEY - “BLUE HAWAII” (LPM-2426), FIRST PRESSING WITH RED STICKER ON COVER RECORD: VG- with many scratches & scuffs if varying degree. I test-played "Can't Help Falling In Love" and "Ku-u-i-po" and although the vocals and instrumentation remains strong, there is some moderate surface noise as well as several "ticks" present. "Can't Help Falling In Love" has three skips in close succession. The labels on this Indianapolis show light spindle marks as well as some fingerprinting. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in October of 1961. The matrix numbers on this record end with 5S/4S, respectively. COVER: VG with a 2-1/2 inch upper seam split along with a much shorter split to the lower right corner (see photos). There is no tape, writing or staple holes on this cover. The spine is solid and mostly legible with just a few spots of wear. The Red Sticker announcing the inclusion of the "Twist" Special, "Rock-A-Hula Baby" and "Can't Help Falling In Love" shows some minor wear from making contact with other albums over time, as does the cover in general. INNER SLEEVE: The original gray "RCA Victor" sleeve from the era.
I COMBINE SHIPPING! $4 for the first LP, then 25 cents for each additional LP. I do not ship outside of the lower 48 States. International shipping caused me too much unnecessary grief in the past with too many requests for me to enter fraudulent information on the Customs Form. I ship all records in the CORRECT cardboard record mailers, specifically designed for shipping these historic and tough-to-replace treasures to your doorstep in the same condition as when they leave my hands. USPS has been known to find a way to bend these boxes on occasion, hard as that may be to believe, so items valued at $30 or more will be shipped automatically with insurance at no additional cost to the buyer. ALL of my records are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within three business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday. Returns are accepted if you are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction. 2017 marks 39 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley.
