ELVIS PRESLEY - "BLUE HAWAII" (LPM-2426) - AN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING WITH THE RARE "MONO" LABELS FROM 1963-64!

RECORD: VG+ with beautiful gloss! This is the very scarce and highly sought-after Second Pressing with the "MONO" labels! The vinyl is so close to EXCELLENT (VG++), but misses the grade by just a few surface scratches. This record should play very well! These "MONO" and "STEREO" labels were around for just a short period of time; October of 1963 to October of 1964. To have been able to be an Elvis collector in that one year time period would have been awesome! Nearly his entire LP Catalog was reissued with these now-rare labels. Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VII" (2012) has this "MONO" album valued at $300 and the "STEREO" version at $750 in the grade of NM! The labels on this record are EXCELLENT, with just some light spindle marks. Of course, being a Hollywood pressing, the labels are aesthetically eye-popping with the brilliant colors that are a characteristic of that particular plant. The matrix numbers end with 17S/19S. A truly beautiful, original record!

COVER:  NM- and appears to have just lost its original shrink wrap last week! Beautiful, original gloss with smooth edges all the way around and virtually no ring wear all contribute to the striking eye-appeal of this cover. There are just a few short stress marks along the border, but they are very minor. This cover, coupled with the rare vinyl within it, is an absolute necessity for completing that collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.

INNER SLEEVE:  Original turquoise colored "ELVIS" LP Catalog sleeve from the era.

GOOD LUCK!
