ELVIS PRESLEY - “BLUE HAWAII” (LSP-2426), A STUNNING, NEAR MINT FIRST PRESSING OF A 1961 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING!                RECORD: NM with full original glossy surfaces! This "Living Stereo", Indianapolis pressing may have been played perhaps, once or twice and then tucked away. The labels are absolutely gorgeous, NM with not a spindle mark to be found. All I can see are my own fingerprints from examining the record. These skin oils eventually dissipate and the labels return to their original state over a short period of time. This particular album is scarce in this condition due to it being one of Elvis' most popular albums and most were played many, many times, subjecting them to surface scuffs and scratches. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in October of 1961 and includes the huge hit single, "Can't Help Falling In Love / Rock-A-Hula Baby". The Matrix numbers end with 10S/10S, which are relatively high for a First Pressing. This record was obviously produced just prior to the label change from "Living Stereo" to the extremely rare "STEREO" labels, as indicated by the matrix numbers as well as the 1964 inner sleeve.    COVER: VG++ (EXC) with just a very small amount of ring wear visible. There are definitely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes present. The upper edge shows some wear and appears to have been moderately scraped by an upper shelf when it was pulled out for play, perhaps. The spine and lower edge are fully legible, solid and smooth. A beautiful cover!     INNER SLEEVE:  The original gray "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40A) sleeve from 1964.
