ELVIS PRESLEY - “BURNING LOVE and HITS FROM HIS MOVIES, VOLUME 2” (CAS-2595), A FIRST PRESSING WITH SCARCE BONUS PHOTO FROM 1972         RECORD: VG++ (EXC) exhibiting very glossy surfaces, although there are a few light scuffs on both sides. One of these is on the title song, so I test-played "Burning Love" and found it to play very strong and clear with only a very soft "tick" that is heard for several revolutions, but the casual listener may not even pick up on it as it does not override the music in any way. The remainder of this record should play just fine. The Blue labels on this Hollywood pressing are beautiful, NM. The matrix numbers end with 3S/3S.   COVER: VG with the most major detraction being a 7-inch split along the spine, most likely caused by the record slamming hard in that direction at some point in time. The upper & lower edges are sound with only some spotted wear. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. Ring wear is almost non-existent! There is some wear to the corners as well as a bit of bending to the lower left corner near the tip. This is the original, short-lived variety of this cover with the Yellow Starburst announcing the inclusion of the Bonus Photo Inside.
BONUS PHOTO:  NM- with just a very small amount of wear to the lower left corner tip.
INNER SLEEVE: The original plain white sleeve. There is a ghost outline from where the Bonus Photo laid for an extended period of time.
