Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 10 inch LP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - The Best Of Elvis released in the U.K.

The record itself (HMV DLP 1159 ) is in VERY GOOD condition with quite a few light marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen.

The centre labels are quite bright and clean and have NO WRITING!(see photos).

I have play tested this and all tracks played through with No skips or Jumps , however there is some surface noise.

The record also comes housed with it's original protective inner sleeve.

This sleeve is over 56 years old and has a few flaws which stop this from grading higher.

There is a seam split along the bottom, some rips at the top, bottom and sides, some of the laminate is missing at the bottom which causes some discolouration.(see photos)

That all said Elvis' image is quite nice and the wording etc on the rear is nice and clean.

The sleeve grades as VERY GOOD-.

This will make a great affordable collection filler until that Mint £300+ copy comes along!

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!

Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.

I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases!

APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICES INCREASES. THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL INCREASING COSTS FROM 2nd APRIL 2013!!!
