This was a very early edition of this record.  In their haste to issue this record, RCA listed the song "Just Because" with the writer as (P.D.) Public Domain.   There were a limited number of pressings of this version, making it rare.  It was released shortly thereafter with the writers' names on the label.

This is an original 1956 Elvis Presley EP 45 with the back cover cardboard sleeve promoting RCA's new recording artist - Elvis Presley.  The back cover reads -

"Elvis Presley, RCA Victor's new recording artist, has zoomed into big-time entertainment practically overnight.  The most original protagonist of popular rhythm songs on the scene today, Elvis has a belting style which stands out vividly on records and in personal appearances and which accounts for his universal popularity, especially with the teen-age audience."

This sleeve is in good condition with normal wear, no holes and has bright colors. It does have several issues - top seam is split in 4.5" and bottom seam is split in 4.25" from inserting and removing the record.  The owner also wrote her name on the back cover. 

The EP vinyl is very glossy, nice sound and no skips or scratches, plays well.  Side 2 has the remains of a small, paper label over the RCA dog.
