Some folk bought vinyl and never played it; keeping it hermetically sealed like a rare treasure. For these now you will pay high prices. But these are available in minuscule quantities.
The rest of of bought it for its intended purposed: to be played and enjoyed and as a soundtrack to our lives.
Some of my records got played a lot and some not much at all. Some were bought new and some second, third or fourth hand. I'm moving on my collection to the next keeper of the flame.

AUDIO PLAYBACK RESULTS
We are 66 years too late for this vinyl to sound like a CD
Expect some background crackle, and check my audio review to see how much.
I'm listening through studio headphones, played back on a Thorens deck with a heavier stylus setting to reduce the crackle. I've given the vinyl a quick hand clean with L'Art Du Son Cleaner, and I alway recommend further cleaning as I haven't played this for a long time. Bare in mind that sound reproduction varies from system to system. I will tell you how I hear it. Remember that you can return the item if you find it unsatisfactory. And please get in touch before rushing ahead to leave bad feedback, you won't lose out so keep calm and get in touch, I aim to please.
Report
Now I have to tell you that I don’t have a turntable that plays 78s; which is what this is. I have listened to it 45; my fastest speed. Now although it doesn’t give me all the audio info I need, it does give me some. I can say that the stylus never skipped through side one. Nor did I hear any repeating clicks or pops. Both sides sounded dusty, so I am giving them a hand clean and another couple of plays before continuing. Again no issues such as skipping or popping. Cleaning reduced some of the surface noise, some still remains as shellac does in itself produce some surface noise. So I can't give you an actual grade.
VINYL CONDITION
GOOD / GOOD
Side one doesn't look too bad. It isi not covered in marks but does have a few. These are some light superficial looking marks of which there are not that many. I see a moderdate scratch starting about 8mm in from the end of the track into the run out groove for approx 1.4cm. There is a small 5mm scratch just up from this; right over the last few grooves. I didnt hear any pops when I played this. The shellac surface has dulled quite a bit. Grades as Good .
Side two has a lot more marks. Some are scuffs, some are fine scratches. Again there is plently of unmarked surface. Some of the marks are long, some staggered. Grades as GOOD.
The labels on both sides grade as VERY GOOD
SLEEVE CONDITION
Very Good
A generic shop sleeve from the era.
I sell this to you in good faith that it is fit for purpose.
Should any issues arise, rest assured you will be refunded.
GRADING YOUR VINYL
I use the classic U.K Rare Record Guide grading system. Detailed below are their guidelines.
MINT
The LP or single is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT
The LP or single shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very light marks may be present. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing but very little.
VERY GOOD
The LP or single has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and an occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and contents without any major defects.
GOOD
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild to hard scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
